Kanye West and his fianc Alexis Phifer are calling it quits Phifer tells People magazine she and West are still friends Sources say the rapper has been spending less time with Phifer lately and spending more time focusing on his Glow in the Dark tour The pair have been dating on and off for about six years and got engaged in August 2006
Jordin Sparks is keeping quiet for now while she recuperates from a vocal injury The former American Idol champ apparently suffered from a vocal cord hemorrhage forcing her to take time off the Alicia Keys tour The singer s label says she s expected to make a full recovery and should be able to join the tour next month
Meanwhile a contestant from this season s Idol is generating big buzz online David Cook s album from 2006 Analog Heart is reportedly the most downloaded album on amazon com The CD didn t get much attention back when it was released but Fox News says it beat out Mariah Carey s album on the website over the weekend Cook is one of 6 contestants hoping to become the next American Idol
Lindsay Lohan s sister Ali is heading to the big screen People magazine says the 14 year old is now working on her first feature film Mostly Ghostly Sources say she ll play the popular girl in school in the movie set for a release later this year Alsofollowing in her big sis Lindsay s footsteps Ali is currently working on recording an album
Stars and protesters stepped out for the London premiere of new comedy Three and Out The film s stars MacKenzie Crook and Gemma Arterton were reportedly greeter by a group of train driver protesters yesterday The movie which also stars Colm Meaney and Imelda Staunton is about a driver looking for someone to commit suicide under his train so he can get compensation Protesters argue the film mishandled a very sensitive subject
